Registration Schedule & Information

To ensure smooth operations and enhance participant convenience, the Conference offers an early registration period. Early registration helps reduce on-site waiting time and may provide priority booking benefits for certain programs.

Please note that after the Early Bird deadline, only regular or later registration options will be available, and corresponding fees will apply.

  • Registration Method: Online registration via the Conference website

Registration Fee

The Registration Fee is structured into four categories: Early Bird, Regular, Late, and On-site Registration at the Conference. All registration periods and deadlines are based on Korea Standard Time (KST).

  1. For membership registration, please refer to the AST conference registration site.
    Members who paid the 2025 AST annual membership fee and those who newly pay the 2026 AST annual membership fee will receive a five-year exemption from annual membership fees from the date of payment.
  2. This registration fee applies to participants who join the Oral Presentation (Presentation Only) session remotely via Zoom.
  3. Undergraduate students may register for free; however, those who wish to attend the Gala Dinner are required to pay a USD 100 fee. The Gala Dinner includes Conference Awards and Congratulatory Remarks.

* All registration fees include access to the Social Event (Gala Dinner), except for Online and Undergraduate Student registrations.

AST Member Participant A general participant who has joined AST and paid the membership fee
AST Non-Member Participant A general participant who has not joined AST or has not paid the membership fee
AST Graduate Student A graduate student who has joined AST and paid the membership fee
AST Non-Member Graduate Student A graduate student who has not joined AST or has not paid the membership fee
Global South Member 01) A general participant from an eligible Global South country who has joined AST and paid the membership fee
Global South Student 01) A student from an eligible Global South country who has joined AST and paid the membership fee
On-line (Zoom) This registration category applies to participants attending the conference remotely via Zoom, including those participating in the Oral Presentation (Presentation Only) session.
Undergraduate Student 02) This registration category is available to undergraduate students participating in the conference, including those presenting in the Undergraduate Pitching Session.
Day Ticket 02) This registration category is available for participants who wish to attend the conference for one or two days only. Day Ticket registration provides access to the conference sessions and materials on the selected day(s).
  1. Eligible Global South Countries: Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines, and India.
  2. Social Event (Gala Dinner) is not included in Day Ticket or Undergraduate Student registration. Participants in these categories who wish to attend the Social Event must register separately and pay an additional fee of USD 100.

Please note that it may take 1–2 business days for your registration to be updated to the applicable category after completing your AST membership.

Gala Dinner or Guest Tickets

  • Gala Dinner Participation: The Gala Dinner is included in all standard Registration Fee categories; however, it is not provided for Undergraduate Students or Day Ticket holders. Participants in these categories who wish to attend the gala may do so by registering separately and paying the additional fee specified below.

  • Guest Tickets: Guest passes are intended only for accompanying persons (e.g., family members or non-academic companions) and do not include access to conference sessions. Conference participants who wish to bring a guest should purchase a guest ticket along with their conference registration by paying the additional fee specified below.

Cancellation and refund policy

Requests for refunds or cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to wcst.world.conf@gmail.com.
When requesting a cancellation or refund, please include your AST account ID and the email address used for registration. All requests are subject to the following schedule.:

  • Cancellation requests received before or by November 30: full refund less $50 administrative fee.

  • Cancellation requests received between December 1 – December 11: full refund less $100 administrative fee.

  • December 12 and onwards: no refund, the registrant will be liable for the full conference registration fee.
