Registration Schedule & Information

To ensure smooth operations and enhance participant convenience, the Conference offers an early registration period. Early registration helps reduce on-site waiting time and may provide priority booking benefits for certain programs.

  • Early Bird Registration: Until Wednesday, September 30, 2026

  • Regular Registration: October 1 – October 31, 2026

  • Late Registration: November 1 – November 30, 2026

  • On-site Registration: December 16 – December 19, 2026

Please note that after the Early Bird deadline, only regular or later registration options will be available, and corresponding fees will apply.

  • Registration Method: Online registration via the Conference website

  • Payment Methods: Credit card, bank transfer, or other designated options

  • Registration Fee Includes: Conference Admission, Ph.D. Workshop, Coffee Breaks

Registration Fee

The Registration Fee is structured into four categories: Early Bird, Regular, Late, and On-site Registration at the Conference. All registration periods and deadlines are based on Korea Standard Time (KST).

  1. For membership registration, please refer to the AST conference registration site.
    Members who paid the 2025 AST annual membership fee and those who newly pay the 2026 AST annual membership fee will receive a five-year exemption from annual membership fees from the date of payment.
  2. Undergraduate students may register for free; however, those who wish to attend the Gala Dinner are required to pay a USD 100 fee. The Gala Dinner includes Conference Awards and Congratulatory Remarks.

A general participant who has joined AST and paid the membership fee. A general participant who has joined AST but has not paid the membership fee. A graduate student who has joined AST and paid the membership fee. A graduate student who has not joined AST or has not paid the membership fee.

Please note that updating your AST membership status may take 1–2 business days.

Day Tickets

  • One-Day Ticket: USD 100 (Early Bird) / USD 150 (Regular, Late) / USD 200(On-site)

  • Two-Day Ticket: USD 200(Early Bird) / USD 250(Regular, Late) / USD 300(On-site)

Please note that Day Ticket registrants do not have the Gala Dinner or Guest Social Event Ticket included. Participants wishing to attend these events must register separately.

Gala Dinner & Guest Social Event Ticket

The Gala Dinner & Guest Social Event is included in all standard Registration Fee categories.
The following participants may join the Gala Dinner & Guest Social Event by registering separately and paying an additional fee:

  • Undergraduate Students and Day Ticket holders (Gala Dinner & Guest Social Event not included in their registration)

  • Guest Pass holders (with a guest pass purchased by a registered participant)

  • Additional ticket for your family or guest
    Guest passes are intended for accompanying persons (e.g., family members or non-academic companions) of registered participants.
    Guest pass holders do not have access to conference sessions and may participate in selected social events only.
    Doctoral students, faculty members, and other academic participants are not eligible for guest passes and must register for the full conference.
    Guest passes must be purchased separately from the conference registration fee.
Gala Dinner Policy

  • The Gala Dinner is included in all standard Registration Fee categories.

  • Undergraduate Students and Day Ticket holders do not have the Gala Dinner included.

  • Participants in these categories may join the Gala Dinner by registering separately and paying an additional fee of USD 100.

Cancellation and refund policy

Requests for refunds or cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to wcst.world.conf@gmail.com.
When requesting a cancellation or refund, please include your AST account ID and the email address used for registration. All requests are subject to the following schedule

  • Cancellation requests received before or by November 30: full refund less $50 administrative fee.

  • Cancellation requests received between December 1 – December 11: full refund less $100 administrative fee.

  • December 12 and onwards: no refund, the registrant will be liable for the full conference registration fee.
